I’m Jayden, a product designer based in Seattle. I learned early on what it feels like to move through spaces that were not designed with everyone in mind, which made me pay attention to small barriers that others might overlook. That perspective helps me focus on creating experiences that feel intuitive and almost invisible.
I currently design at Skillshare, where I work on onboarding, discovery, and learning features. Before this, I studied Design at USC, and I now continue my research at the University of Washington. I think a lot about cognitive load, language differences, and accessibility because people bring different backgrounds and expectations to every product.
At UW, I am working on an AI-powered AAC tool for children with autism and studying how ESL employees communicate at work. These projects help me understand the small challenges people face and guide how I approach clear and inclusive design.

I can confidently say Jayden is an exceptional designer. Jayden quickly grasped the goal and context of our projects, bringing a strong understanding of design principles such as accessibility, and a real passion for creating user-centered solutions asking bold questions. What stood out most was her ability to blend creativity with practicality—producing polished, functional designs while always keeping user needs top of mind, juggling stakeholder’s requirements and feedback. She was proactive in seeking feedback, iterative in their process, and consistently demonstrated a collaborative and positive attitude. I have no doubt that Jayden has a bright future ahead in product design, and I highly recommend her for any design role.

Jayden was an incredible Product Design Intern at Skillshare in the fall of 2024. She took on foundational projects, feature improvements, and growth marketing iterations within just three months and impressed us with her ability to move initiatives forward efficiently while incorporating feedback from multiple directions. Within her first month, she was independently tackling projects, conducting competitive analyses, user research, and deep dives into current functionality—uncovering insights that might have otherwise been missed. Despite her short time with us, she made a significant impact on our team. Wherever she goes next, she will undoubtedly be a force multiplier for both user and business success.
